Stopped by the CodFather chip shop and had chicken & mushroom pie, chips and gravy - really enjoyed it! The pie was hot and tasty, the filling was nice and perfect temperature, and the pastry was lovely and soft. Chips were fresh and fluffy and cooked well. The gravy brought it all together well, it wasnt runny and had great consistancy and taste. Good comfort food and great value. Would definitely go back.
Excellent food. Very good portions And very polite stuff Definitely worth a visit
Best fish and chip shop in town, very generous portions. Great views of lake to enjoy eating food by.
A quaint and wonderful chip shop supporting the local community. Some of the best kebab and chips I have had. If I am hungry for a chippy then I make an excursion to visit The Godfather. Only a few steps away is a lovely lake and In summertime you can grab a bag of chips (have some bread to hand) and enjoy a chip butty watching the wildlife.
Fantastic chippy great staff food was very good 👍 recommended 💯
our favourite chippy it always used to be cooked in proper lard not sure now but the chips are always cooked to order and lovely and crispy. scallops are huge and so crispy do homemade faghots which are huge.
Brilliant little chippy Had the lunch box and was shocked on what you get for the price of it
